Estimating the cost of having your pool recycled using Regenaqua’s patented, 8 stage recycling system:
Our recycling services costs are comprised of three components:
In order to provide you with the most accurate estimate, for a nominal fee, refundable with our recycling service, we can send you a water sample bottle, which you return with a sample of your pool water. We test your pool water for isocyanuric acid level. This is only an estimate since the level of isocyanuric acid will increase over time. Our technician will confirm the level and commit to a price after testing the water in your pool the day of the service.
Isocyanuric acid can precipitate onto the surface of the pool and may dissolve back into solution after the completion of the recycling process; there is no way to quantify the amount of isocyanuric acid on the surface. You will be provided a sample of the water processed through our machine.
When your pool was filled, the amount of Isocyanuric acid added to your pool was determined by the volume of your pool. We work that equation backwards to determine how much isocyanuric acid is dissolved in the water. Based upon that formula, we can discuss the quantities you would like to have removed.
An example situation would be a pool with 40 excess pounds of Isocyanuric acid dissolved in solution:
Arrival, testing and set up charge: $250.00
40 pounds CYA removed @ $12.00: $480.00
Total for recycling project:: $730.00
Calcium Hardness is also lowered during the recycling process, but is not priced separately. Removal of “calcium harness only” is a service provided for “salt pools” and is priced at lower per pound charge. Ask your booking operator or field technician for details.
- Travel surcharge
For locations over 50 miles from our home office, where applicable - Setup charges
Our initial setup charge is $250 includes set up and disassembly of the equipment and the hoses to and from our rig. This process takes about an hour total. Once the technicians and the rig have arrived at your home, this charge is non-refundable. Our technician will complete an extensive testing to determine various chemical levels in the water which include:- Isocyanuric acid
- Chlorine, both free and total
- pH
- Total Alkalinity
- Calcium Hardness
- Isocyanuric acid
- Recycling charges.
The recycling charge is based exclusively on your specific pool condition. The charge is based on reduction of isocyanuric acid and is charged at the rate of $12.00 per pound removed from the water. The charge per pound represents materials and labor, U.V. Sterilization of processed water and a disposal fee. The isocyanuric acid removed from your pool water is retained for disposal by a qualified hazardous material processing firm.
